RNs
Registered Nurses: Individuals who are licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse pursuant to Article 139 of the New York State Education Law.
LPNs
Licensed Practical Nurses: Individuals who are licensed and currently registered as a licensed practical nurse pursuant to Article 139 of the New York State Education Law.
- Administering medications and treatments, according to scheduled immunization services, including flu shots.
- Round-the-clock nursing care post-operation, whether you are in the hospital (with approval from the hospital administration), in a skilled nursing facility or at home.
- Skilled assessments, such as nursing-home eligibility.
